Horse Healer Chance
Chance is our oldest member of the 4 legged herd. He is a Spotted Saddle Horse gelding with 2 blue eyes and his heart on his chest. He was born March 23,2005. He is herd boss, and nobody messes with him. He loves his mom Cati, and has been with her since she was 15. Chance loves carrots, celery, bananas, horse cookies/treats, ( He's a gentle guy when taking treats from your hand) and opening gates. Chance is Cati's retired show horse, and has won over 50+ ribbons, many of those being first place, or in the top 5. He loves his job, but can be bit stubborn when he doesn't want to work. Chance has the best ability to detect emotions and if you're feeling down, provides the best support to lean on. He is a mount for mounted archery, and jousting, when he's not teaching the younger generation how to ride. Chance is definitely the one to make you slow down bc thats how he learns too!
Horse Healer Luna
Queen Luna as Cati calls her is the "Boss Mare". She is the brains of the herd and the best at figuring out how to do things. She loves apples, carrots, peppermints, celery, horse treats & cookies. Luna serves as our most trusted lesson horse, ever steady and un-faltering. She is a registered palomino Tennessee Walking Horse. Luna was born July 27,2010. Luna has been to church-literallly. Cati rode her down the road to church one sunday. Luna serves as the mount for Rust Royal and the Louisville Royals Steel Fighting Team. Her stage name, depending on which part of the team she is representing is Valor or Lady Royal. Luna is the one that gets to try out all the new jobs, which makes her perfect fit for lessons, mounted combat, and mounted archery. Luna also does birthday parties, trail rides, and pretty much anything that her mom asks her to. She loves waving hello with her front hoof to welcome those who walk through our gate! Luna is also a mom, and her only baby she has had is Tacoma, who is our 3rd herd member.
Horse Healer Tacoma
Tacoma is our youngest herd member of the equines. She is our black registered Tennessee Walking Horse. She was born alomost of Cati's birthday, but got excited and couldn't wait another day, so she arrived into the world on March 7 2018. Tacoma also sometimes goes by "Stinky" because she is absolutely rotten, but in a good way. Tacoma is our "in your pocket pony" and loves to be up in your personal space because she has no personal space of her own. Everybody is welcome in her space. She loves attention, and absolutely will hog it all. Her favorite eats are apples, carrots, peppermints, carrot flavored horse treats, horse cookies, and bananas. Tacoma is like her mom Luna, and steady and true, but sometimes she adds a little spice to her lessons. She also waves hello, and has a good ability to just know when you need a shoulder to lean on and pet. She is fearless, and not afraid of much. She is also a mount for mounted archery, /combat and an excellent trail horse. Tacoma is also our escape artist, and Cati swears she spends her days off plotting how to get out of the fence.
Canine Healer Ziva
Ziva is our love bug doggo. She is a black lab/rottweiler mix, and loves to smile her pearly white teeth at you. She loves to cuddle and be close to her mom Cati. She's a bit shy, and timid, when she first meets you, but will warm up quickly to you. She loves attention, and being anywhere Cati is. She serves as Cati's service dog at night and alerts Cati when something is amiss with her heart. She knows her job, and will wake Cati up the best she can. She loves to go on car rides, and once in the car, lays down, and snoozes. Ziva's defensive attack is to plop down and ask for belly rubs lol.
Canine Healer Sammie
Sammie came to us in need of a home from a friend of Cati's. She has been put through the ringer when her life was just starting as a pup. Sammie is very intelligent, learns quckly, and will give you her paw when you ask for it. Sammie is our smooth haired border collie, and herding( or so she thinks she is) is her game. Sammie loves kids, and is happy to greet all the lesson students arriving for their lessons, and sometimes steals the show.
Feline Healer Onyx
Sir Onyx is our only balck cat. He's always on patrol, and is one heck of a hunter. He has delivered a bird, a squirrel, a lizard, several rats and mice, and a live rabbit to Cati. The live rabbit was is proudest trophy and he delivered it to Cati's bed one morning. Talk about a good wake up call!
